What are Dramatic Moments?

Dramatic Moments consists of a bundled scene and song from Broadway shows and other musicals along with a masterclass about the scene and song by the creators themselves. They are designed for an individual performer to study, rehearse, perform, and then share in your classroom, school intranet or on social media. Dramatic Moments may also be utilized by teachers in any classroom, including a virtual classroom setting, to teach the scene and song to their students.

Are Dramatic Moments available worldwide?

No. Dramatic Moments are available in US and Canada only.

What can I use the materials for?

The materials can be used by an individual performer to study, rehearse, perform, and then share in your classroom, school intranet or on social media. Dramatic Moments may also be utilized by teachers in any classroom, including a virtual classroom setting, to teach the scene and song to their students.

How long can I use the materials for and perform the song?

Once purchased, you are able to utilize the materials for as long as you want.

What age and/or education level do you recommend Dramatic Moments for?

We generally recommend Dramatic Moments for high school students and up. Ultimately, it is up to the customer to determine what is most suitable, but we can offer some suggestions.

The following shows may be deemed as more suitable for older performers:

Can I print and copy this for classroom use?

Once a Dramatic Moment is purchased, you are permitted to print multiple copies of the Participant Guide for classroom use.

Can I use the masterclass video in my class?

Yes, the video may be utilized by teachers in any classroom, including a virtual classroom setting, to teach the scene and song to their students.

Can I post the masterclass video on my class’s Google Classroom or similar secure platform?

The video may be posted on a secure platform, to be accessed by the entire class.

By ordering a Dramatic Moment and purchasing the sheet music, can I perform this song in a local concert?

While you are able to perform the song in a class setting or post a video of your performance on social media, Dramatic Moments do not grant the rights to be performed for an audience and cannot be monetized in any way.

Can I make my own revue or recital of multiple Dramatic Moments? Can I charge for ticket if I do?

No. Dramatic Moments are meant to be used for song study and individual performance. They are not able to be performed for an in-person audience and cannot be monetized in any way.

Where can I use post a video of my performance of the song?

You can post the video on any social media or school intranet platform.

Can I submit my performance of this song to a competition (ie. Kennedy Center ACTF)?

Dramatic Moments must be paid for by credit card at the time of ordering.

For classroom use, a Dramatic Moment just needs to be purchased once and can then be utilized by the entire class.
