Music Theatre International Promotes Drew Cohen to President

New York, NY - Music Theatre International (MTI), the leading global dramatic performing rights agency, announced today that Drew Cohen has been elevated to the position of President. He will continue to report to MTI's Chairman and CEO, Freddie Gershon. Drew moves to his new role from the position of General Manager, a post he has held since 2004, prior to which he served as MTI's Director of Business and Legal Affairs. Drew's early career included four years as an attorney with the law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, after which he joined GlassNote Records and served as its V.P./General Manager. Subsequently, he earned a master's degree from Harvard Business School and was then Director of Investments for a private family fund.
