Casting for Peter Pan Jr.
I'd like to do Peter Pan Jr, but I'm not sure it fits the peculiar business model of my current school. Here's the way the school's department is set up. The Production class (which kids audition to get into) play the leads, and they rehearse in class. A less advanced "JV" class plays one chorus, and rehearses in class. Then there are open auditions for another chorus, and they rehearse after school. For example, this year we did Willy Wonka Jr, and my Production class played all the speaking roles. The kids in the JV class were Oompa Loompas, and the open audition kids were the Kids Chorus. It is an expectation here that the JV class will have more stage time and more to do than the other chorus, so I gave them the Oompa Loompas which have four songs, as opposed to the Kids Chorus which has two. First question: Weird, right? I've never seen a school set up quite like this, and I'm having trouble finding shows that have two choruses, one of which is bigger and more important than the other. Second question: Will Peter Pan Jr. fit this business model? I worry that there are too many choruses (pirates, Lost Boys, indians, mermaids). Also, I worry that the choruses are too ingrained in the script to rehearse separately. Like, it was easy to rehearse the Oompa Loompas in a different class than my Wonka because the Oompa Loompa songs stand alone. But is it possible to have the pirates in a different class than my Captain Hook, or the Lost Boys in a different class than my Peter Pan? Third question: Are there other Junior shows that fit into this strange business model?

Where to end ACT I in Disney's Little Mermaid Jr
Hi everyone! This may sound like a ridiculous question but, where have you been ending ACT I in Disney's Little Mermaid Jr. There are two places I feel that would work, either after Part of Your World Reprise 2 or after she surrenders her voice to Ursula and swims to the surface. What has everyone else been doing?

Lion King Jr.
I was wondering if this article had any truth to it. http://www.playbill.com/news/article/186640-Disney-Will-Release-Adaptation-of-The-Lion-King-for-Production-in-Schools Also, if it is true that Lion King Jr. will be released, will it only be released to schools? I am the director of the Amarillo Little Theatre Academy and have had great success with many shows you offer such as "Children of Eden", "Little Mermaid Jr.", and "Shrek". The Lion King Jr. would be a great show for us to tackle next. Also if this is true, when will applications be offered? Thank you for any help you may be able to offer!

"Godspell Jr." Accompaniment CD
We received an accompaniment CD with our "Godspell Jr." ShowKit. If we choose not to have a live pianist accompany our performances, this CD is our only option for pre-recorded tracks -- right?

Godspell 2012
Is there a Rehearsal CD which can be used? I'd like to have the ability for the students to learn their parts on their own when necessary.

pushmi-pullyu dance in Dr Dolittle
HI - Could you offer some guidance on the concept behind the pushmi pullyu dance suggested in the choreography video? The show calls for an animal with 2 heads and one body. The dance on the video has 2 people dancing as a couple, separating completely as well as turning in place. What kind of costume is envisioned to make this work for this character? There is no commentary on the video that might shed light on this as there are with the other 2 numbers.
