Great question that many wonder.  Unfortunately it violates the licensing contract to add or alter music.  The JR adaptations were conceived with author approval, so MTI does not have the right to change.  Small changes can certainly be looked at an answeered with a written request to your MTI rep.  There are many alterations that are allowed, if you are still questioning, check in with specifics and your rep.
