Stan Freeman was awarded an Emmy for his work as a lyricist and composer for "The Carol Burnett Show". As a musician he has recorded with jazz legends Charlie Parker, Benny Goodman, and Ella Fitzgerald. He has also recorded more than fifteen solo albums for Columbia and Epic records. He won the Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award for Best Actor in his critically acclaimed one-man show "At Wit's End".
