FRECKLEFACE STRAWBERRY is making history in Connecticut by becoming the first play in the state to have a special Sensory Sensitive Performance for autistic children after it opens at Bridgeport's Downtown Cabaret Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 23.
The cabaret's executive producer Hugh Hallinan said the special Sunday, March 3, presentation came about organically -- after a performance of a children's Christmas show that was attended by Gary Kupper, the composer and co-book writer of "Freckleface," who is directing the Bridgeport production.
