Policy for Cutting MTI Shows for Competition Purposes
What is the policy for cutting a MTI show for competition purposes? Are all shows allowed to be cut, if the rights to cut are obtained? How does one go about submitting a request to do so. Do you have to provide the exact cut when asking to do so?

High School Appropriate?
Is this show high school appropriate? I saw videos on Youtube of some songs that may be questionable, but the version on MTI seems to be different, with some of those songs cut already.

I Need a Tevye Beard!!!
I Need a Tevye Beard!!!
Hi, im a 17 year old who was just cast in the role of Tevye at a local youth theater. I don't think I will have time to grow a beard like Topol's fabulous one.. but I was wondering if anyone knew of any great online theatre websites who would have some great very realistic beards.. (because Tevye was not 17 not to mention that fact he couldn't shave his beard in the first place)

Big: The Musical
Does anyone know why the song list for Big: The Musical does not include all of the songs from the original Broadway production? It seems like some of the best songs in the show were cut from the liscensed version.

Introduce students to Sondheim with SATURDAY NIGHT

Sondheim musicals can be too challenging and even too adult for high school productions, but a great show for high schools is Sondheim's SATURDAY NIGHT. It is unusually tuneful and much easier to learn and perform well than most other Sondheim shows. All the characters are aged 16 - 24, so the story is not far from students' experiences. There are more than the usual good roles for women in the show and the chorus can be large or as small as 6 people, depending on your needs. The show takes place in 1929, just before the Stock Market Crash, and as each character prepares to take their next big step in life. There is a nice combination of the sweetness of life mixed with hard realities, and how the devotion of friends helps you through challenging times. Take a look at it.

Music Man Instruments
Could anyone please tell me where you got the instruments for this show? Did you have the students actually use their own instruments or did you buy plastic ones? I would be grateful for any help!
