A local school has posted a video on facebook announcing that they will be doing MAMMA MIA in March 2019. I realize that the rights will be available and they can apply and potentially do it in that time frame, but it is unfair that they have jumped the gun in making this announcement. I thought the stipulation was that there can be no promotion of doing a show until the rights have actually been secured.

You are correct - no theatre should be advertising a show for which they do not already have a performance license. If you feel there is a violation, please email licensing@mtishows.com with more info so we can investigate.
