I work with a small community theatre, and getting enough males for shows can be problematic. Can we cast a mix of both males and females in this version of the show--with the understanding that they are all playing male roles? Obviously the females would be playing males--and they will be dressed in men's period clothing and playing male roles alongside other males.

Hi! Yes, you can absolutely cast actors of all genders. The genders in the character descriptions refer to the gender of the character, not the actor.
