Chief of the Muzo tribe. She is a devout mediator who believes in resolution through love and peace. Powerful and caring with a soft spot in her heart for Pedro that often conflicts with her loyalty to her faith in Padre Jose.

Bus driver for the Muzo tribe. He is passionate about his bus, but is a terrible driver. Outspoken with no filter. Rebellious. A vigilante. He disagrees with the idolatry of the Madonna.

An army doctor and the General's right-hand man. He acts as a middle man between the General and the Muzo people. He is firm and matter-of-fact.

A corpulent man, he is a wealthy and power-driven mine and land owner in Columbia. Pompous, slimy, entitled, and full of machismo. He selfishly conjures up deceitful ploys to get what he wants.

He is a mystic fraud, phony astrologer, and dealer in illicit enterprises. A friend of Teresa's from Paris who often falsely acts as her spiritual guide.

A proud and famous Parisian chef, she is the owner of the Little Black Mouse Café. Passionate about her food. A spitfire personality, fickle at times, always looking out for herself above all else.

Derelict of the Magdalena River. A happy and enlightened soul, he spends his time making music while reminiscing on the village's culture. He sees things for what they are. An omniscient type.
